HISTORY Richmond Lions Club was chartered May 23, 1940 with 27 members. In 1941 the Richmond Lions Club adopted the Goodfellow program which allows the Club to provide assistance to community people in need. This assistance is a year long process and includes providing eyeglasses, hearing aids, family assistance following home fires or medical emergencies, handicap access, and medical equipment. Richmond Lions Club also provides food & toy baskets to needy families just prior to Christmas. Various projects are done throughout the year to support these programs. MEETINGS The Richmond Lions Club meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month. Meetings are held at the Richmond VFW Hall.
